Martin Bader has been appointed Hanover sports director from October 1 onwards, the Bundesliga bottom club said Thursday. Bader, 47, was sports director and general manager at second division Nuremberg for the past 11 years. Hanover president Martin Kind spoke of a "forward looking" decision and named Bader "an expert in professional football." Hanover are rock bottom in the Bundesliga with one point from six games. The fate of coach Michael Frontzeck could be sealed if they fail to beat Wolfsburg on Saturday. | |||||
